Message from Elaine Paige: This really lovely children’s poetry anthology book has been produced to celebrate the 25th anniversary year of The Children’s Trust, a charity I’ve been associated with since its foundation. As Vice President I have seen the extraordinary work of the Trust over a quarter of a century, providing excellent nursing care, education and rehabilitation for children with multiple disabilities including those with acquired brain injury. This is a wonderful book of fun poetry chosen by a wide range of people in the public eye all believing in the power of memorable poetry in childhood. Some of the children at the Trust have illustrated the poems beautifully and there are contributions from the professionals: Quentin Blake’s cover, the Poet Laureate’s foreword and poetry writing tips from Colin West.
